16. Mikan (AN)
(Added: 22.11.2009)

Mikan was found at the university campus on Nov 21. She was hiding under the kiosk in a little dark hole. After 2 hours of miaowing, running, pretending we are not there, we finally managed to get her out.

Mikan is a 1 month old female kitten with beautiful thick fur of yellow and white color. She looks like a little tiger and has an appetite of a tiger.

14. Sunny and 15. Sofia(AN)
(Added: 02.12.2009)

Sunny and Sofia are absolutely gorgeous 1.5 month old female kittens. They are sisters and have been always together. We found them near the university canteen where they were probably born and survived on food wastes. They have very long and soft hair of a very beautiful and rare mixed blond-orange color. They eat dry cat food, are toilet trained, very healthy and super cute.

13. Tigra (AN)

Tigra was rescued when he was just one week old. Fortunately, after several days he was adopted by a nice coulpe who had been waiting for their new family member for a long time. Tigra is still very tiny, but has already opened his eyes and has a good appetite.

12. LIZA (A)
(Added: 10.2009)

Liza has been already adopted by a Japanese family who also adopted Rainbow (9. Rainbow (J)) not so long ago. We are very happy that despite her small disability, Lisa was accepted by these kind people. Now she can have normal and happy life in a loving and caring home.

10. Lily (A) and 11. Lulu (A)
(Added: 10.2009)

Lily and Lulu are beautiful white female twins. They are about 3 weeks old and luckily have been rescued in time. Both are very healthy, energetic and playful. Although it's hard to say who is who by appearance, but they definitely have their own distinguished characters. Lily is a boss, while Lulu is a bit shy. Lily eats first, while Lulu waits calmly for her turn. Lily always protects Lulu.

Lily and Lulu were adopted on Nov 13, 2009 by a nice and caring Japanese couple. Two little sisters have always been together and we are so glad they can stay unseparated in the future!

9. RAINBOW (J)

Rainbow was too small to survive on her own when we found her at the streets. She had slight skin allergy, but generally rather healthy. She was adopted by a nice family with kids on Oct. 24, 2009.

8. FYODOR - James (A)

When we met Fyodor in October this year, he was sick, full of fleas, cold and hungry. However, shortly after the treatment, grooming, good rest and healthy food, he turned into a lovely tender purely white handsome kitten and was quickly adopted by a very nice family.

James - Male - 8 months old.
James was rescued as a 1.5 month old kitten. At the time he had a bad cold, as it was cold and rainy outside. Fortunately, he got better soon and was adopted by a loving family. In 6 months he turned into a beautiful cat with long white hair. However, a newly born baby appeared to be allergic to James' hair and the family could do nothing but put him on adoption hoping to find good home for him. He has a clean bill of health. Vaccinated, rabies shot, dewormed, deflead and neutered.

7. ALISA (A)

"Alice in a wonder land" this story is truly about our little Alisa. She was rescued from a local barbeque restaurant. Who knows what could have happened to her there. She was crying for help in a cold rainy day and luckily we somehow heard her voice while passing by. We brought her home, washed her, fed her, gave her a warm comfortable place to calm down and sleep. At the very same day one of our Japanese friend agreed to adopt her with an intention to take her to Japan in the future. This is how our little Alisa made a journey from one world to another, from the streets to a new sweet home.

6. PUSHOK (J)

This little kitten was found at the streets by our Chinese teammate. Something happened to his leg and as a result he became an outcast in a complicated stray cat's society. Luckily, he has already recovered and we managed to find a new family for him. We hope, nobody will never treat him badly again.

5. VINCENT (A)

Vincent is a two month old male kitten. When he was found in July of 2009, he had a very severe eye infection and almost couldn't see. Luckily, after the treatment we managed to save his one eye. Fortunately, he was adopted by a kind hearted person and is having a good and normal life.

4. SCOTCH (J)

SCOTCH was adopted by a foreign couple shortly after she has been rescued from the streets in summer 2009. She is a gorgeous kitten of a beautiful color which is interestingly called "Tiger" in China. She has found a truly loving home and is in caring and responsible hands.

2. YELLOW (A) and 3. WHITY (J)

Yellow and his sister Whity were left outside in a box without any food or water in summer 2009. They were found in bushes by our Chinese activist and rescuer Jennifer. Fortunately, both kittens found new homes very quickly. They now both have turned into strong and healthy young cats, but probably won't recognize each other...

1. UUNA (A)

Uuna was rescued in 2005 at Shanghai University's campus. At the time she was very small and sick. She has been cured and sterilized and now is living in my family here in Shanghai.
She is a happy and playful cat.
